here’s a little spot illustration i did for class. it’s about the future, which in my mind, means colonizing the bottom of the sea. this is because i am obsessed with the 90’s show seaquest which is both embarrassing and makes no sense. but come on! talking dolphins!
anyway, i’m waiting for access to a large format scanner and then i can post all my work from this semester. i guess i’m working bigger these days.

My scanner is broken! Again! Hence, infrequent posts.
However, I’m finally starting to edge in to that sweet spot of the semester where the projects start getting good.

School work has been dreadful. Thankfully, freelance work has been 100% fun.
Made this for my very lovely and talented friend John and his band Wake Up Electrified. This will be the cover of their upcoming lp called “John Edwards”.
It’s pretty much a revisit to a similar piece I did many years ago, but I think it turned out much nicer.

i’m loving adobe illustrator lately. when classes are over, i’m going to revisit this and add textures and stuff.
this is something i’ve been working on in Adobe Illustrator for school. it’s an underground city inspired by that Alice and Wonderland-y Samurai Jack episode. it will have color, texture, and more detail by next week!
